UK Expected To Hit 9% Food Inflation Rate By December
The conflict in the Middle East is pushing the UK into another cost-of-living crisis. It looks like food is going to get even more expensive... again.
For the past 2 years, 30 Pence has been producing content about bank switch offers and personal finance news. We are UK based and update our site daily to stay on top of such a fast moving topic.
We are an independent publisher funded almost entirely by our users.
Our low cost membership (paid via Direct Debit) can also help you qualify for bank switch offers, but make sure you check the eligibility criteria first.
We cover topics like current account switch incentives, everyday money saving tips, updates on UK banking products, and changes to financial rules that impact all of us. We also share deals and offers that we think our readers will get a lot of value from.
We do not provide financial advice! Our aim is to present this information in a clear and straightforward way so that you can make your own decisions on what might work best for you.
My goal was to create a membership site that:
1) Qualifies for bank switches whilst supporting independent journalism.
2) Provides incredible value for the lowest cost possible.
That led me to searching "what's the lowest amount I can charge?".
I quickly discovered that payment providers won't let you sell memberships for less than 30p. It's the absolute minimum they accept.
As a result, I named the site 30 Pence.
I think it's a great name that symbolises our commitment to frugal finance.
The idea for the site started when I was a student at university. Funds were so tight that I had to watch every single penny.
Like most students, I struggled and worried about money. Bank switches saved me (and fed me) numerous times.
As I learned more about switching, I became fascinated (and borderline obsessed) with personal finance, frugality and growing my money.
30 Pence was created to make that kind of information easier to access whilst also providing people with the lowest cost direct debit.
Lot's of our content revolves around current bank switch offers, but we also keep full of content related to the wider banking landscape within the UK.
As a result, you'll often see content related to maximising your savings rate, new customer offers and important updates in UK finance that might impact you.
We like to focus on frugal finance, but not in a restrictive way.
It's about making better use of what you already have and understanding the options available to you. More information leads to better choices.
Whether you are actively looking to switch banks or just want to stay informed with what's happening, our content is designed to help you make more confident decisions. However, we won't tell you what decisions to make.
Nothing on this site is personal financial advice. It is provided as general information only. You should do your own research and make your own decisions when it comes to your money.
Working on this site is such a joy for me. I'm truly obsessed with this niche and I'm humbled by how many people visit this site and seem to share my passion.
As an independent publisher, I am greatly appreciative for all of our readers and members that choose to keep coming back. Thank you so very much.
